At the Heart and Sol of AAE is our educators
We utilize the expertise of clinicians throughout the region. In fact, in 2019 we started using clinical experts from an area we are providing a course. This helps to ensure that the actual challenges from your area are addressed. It also provides a great avenue to build relationships with your local colleagues. Of course, some of our regional faculty still enjoy a road trip so we use them whenever they are available too.
Our faculty are led by one of our founders, Kevin Franklin, who continues to lead the organization and courses. Kevin has been a Michigan licensed paramedic since 1992 and a registered nurse since 2005. Over the past 28 years Kevin has worked as a metropolitan based paramedic, emergency department and intensive care nurse, and a flight nurse for a regional helicopter air ambulance. He is an active instructor for BLS, ACLS, and PALS for a tertiary trauma center and is part of the leadership in a major community based hospital. In fact, Kevin just finished his MSN in nursing leadership in February of 2020 as a sign of his commitment to helping lead hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
